Three roles.
Small team.

ARM is early. That means the work is real and the decisions are yours to make, not to inherit. If you have coached, managed a side or run a committee, say so. It counts for more here than a tidy CV.

Open roles.

UX/UI Designer

Make a coach's Tuesday night take four taps, not fourteen.

Remote · NZ or AUContract to start
  • Own the interface end to end: availability, selection, the playbook, the RDO view.
  • Design against a real season. Everything gets tested by people standing on a wet field.
  • Work directly with the person building it. No handover deck, no design system committee.
  • Figma or straight into the browser, whichever gets it in front of a club faster.

Sales · South Island

Clubs, unions and RDOs from Nelson to Invercargill.

South Island, NZBase + commission
  • Get in front of club committees and RDOs. Clubrooms on a Thursday, not a CRM all day.
  • Run the demo yourself. The product does most of the talking once it's open.
  • You already know the rugby community down here, or you'll be in it within a month.
  • Bring back what clubs actually ask for. It goes on the roadmap, not into a void.

Sales · Australia

First person on the ground across the Tasman.

AustraliaBase + commission
  • Open the market: community clubs, junior rugby, and the associations around them.
  • You'll be defining how ARM sells in Australia, not following a NZ playbook.
  • Comfortable being the only one in the country doing it for the first six months.
  • Rugby union, league or school sport. If you know the volunteers, you know the buyer.

What it's actually like.

Small on purpose

A handful of people, all still in clubs on a Saturday. Nothing gets built by someone who has never chased an availability list.

Season pace

The rugby calendar sets the deadlines. Pre-season is loud, mid-winter is heads-down, and everyone knows which week is which.

Early means early

You'll do work outside your title. In exchange you get to decide how a whole part of the business runs.

How we hire.

  1. Email us

A short note on what you'd bring and what you'd want to fix first. A CV is optional; a link to something you've made or sold is better.

  2. A conversation

Half an hour, no panel. Mostly about rugby and how clubs work, partly about the job.

  3. A real piece of work

A paid half-day on an actual problem: a screen, or a list of clubs and how you'd approach them.

None of these, but still keen?

Tell us what you'd do here and why. We read everything that comes in.
