Where the season actually goes

Volunteers run the club.
Admin runs them down.

Nobody leaves a club because of the rugby. They leave because of the Wednesday nights: chasing replies, rebuilding a list someone else was holding, and finding out on Saturday morning that you're a hooker short.

01

23 messages for 15 names

Availability lives in a group chat, gets buried by banter, and has to be counted by hand every single week.

02

One person holds the season

Who played, who's carrying a knock, who hasn't turned up since round three. All of it in one volunteer's head.

03

Teams named too late

Selection lands Friday night, so nobody trains knowing their role and the bench finds out in the car park.

04

No view across the club

The 2nd XV borrows a colt, the colts coach never hears, and two teams count the same player twice.

The arithmetic on one team
3.5 hrsA manager's week on chasing, counting and re-counting
22 wksA club season, pre-season to finals
77 hrsPer team, per season, on admin nobody thanks you for
× teamsMultiply by every squad the club fields

A five-team club spends the better part of two working months a season assembling information it already has. ARM doesn't make volunteers work faster. It removes the work.

The volunteer risk

When the person who holds it all steps down, the club restarts from zero. Records should belong to the club, not to a phone.

The player risk

Players who never hear where they stand quietly stop replying. Selection is a retention tool if they can see it.

The committee risk

You can't govern what you can't see. Numbers per squad, week to week, are the club's early warning system.

02 · What it is
One platform, three people

Availability, selection and the season in one place.

ARM is club management built only for rugby. Not a generic team app with a rugby skin, positions, XVs, benches, squads and grades are how it thinks.

Signs it off

The club

One licence covers every squad. The club owns the record: who played, how often, and where the numbers are thin.

Committee & RDO
Lives in it

The coach

Opens Wednesday, sees who's in, names the team on the board, and the sheet goes out. Minutes, not evenings.

Coach & manager
Taps once

The player

One link by text. Fixture, note from the coach, three buttons: In, Maybe, Out. No app, no password, no account.

Every player
01

Availability

Rounds go out to the squad, replies come back to you, and the grid shows the week at a glance: counts, notes and a chase list for the ones who've gone quiet.

02

Selection board

Drag players into slots, order sets the shirt numbers, bench underneath, captain flagged. Availability is right there, so you never pick someone who's away.

03

Playbook & sessions

Draw moves, animate them, and send them as a link the squad can watch before training. Drills and session plans sit alongside.

04

The club's record

Caps, appearances, positions, history per player and per squad, all kept by the club, carried into next season regardless of who's running the team.

What it isn't

It isn't another chat app, and it doesn't ask players to download anything. The group chat can stay exactly where it is. ARM just takes the admin out of it.

03 · The week
What actually changes

A match week, start to finish.

The same week your club already runs, with the chasing taken out and the deadline moved forward by two days.

Sunday

The round opens itself

Next week's fixture goes out to the squad automatically. Players get one link: fixture, kick-off, and the coach's note.

Nobody has to do anything
Monday

Replies come to you

Answers land in the grid as they arrive. In, Maybe, Out, plus a note if a player needs to explain a Maybe.

Chase the quiet ones

The non-responder list is one tap. Export it, drop it in the group chat, or nudge them. No scrolling back through 200 messages.

Name the team

Selection board, availability alongside every name. Slots set the numbers, bench underneath, captain flagged. Saved as you go.

Thursday

Train knowing your role

The sheet is out before the last run. Players train in the shirt they're wearing on Saturday, and the moves for the week are on their phone.

Saturday

Play the game

Result and appearances go on the record. Caps tick over, the season history builds itself, and Sunday starts the next round.

05 · Getting live
Rollout

Live in three weeks.

No IT project, no migration weekend. Most clubs are sending their first availability round the same week they sign up.

Week one

Set up

We load your squads, teams and player list with you on one call. You send the first availability round that evening.

Week two

Run a real week

One squad goes end to end: round, chase list, selection board, team sheet out on Thursday. Nothing else changes.

Week three

Open it up

The other squads come on, the RDO view switches on, and the committee gets numbers per squad without asking a coach.

"Our players won't use another app."

They don't have to. A player gets a text with one link, taps In, Maybe or Out, and they're done. No download, no login, no password to forget.

"Our older coaches aren't technical."

If they can use a group chat they can use ARM. Selection is drag a name into a slot. We do the setup call and stay on the end of an email.

"What if the volunteer running it leaves?"

That's the point. The record sits with the club, not the person. The next manager logs in and the whole season is already there.

"Can we try it before committing budget?"

Yes. One squad is free for a full season. Run it, see what a Wednesday looks like, then bring the numbers back to this committee.

The ask: one squad,
one season, free.

Approve a single squad on ARM for this season and review it at the next meeting. If it hasn't given the club back its Wednesday nights, we've cost you nothing.
